¿Cómo evitar hablar?
Thou art the grave where buried
love doth live,
Hung with the trophies of my lovers gone,
Who all their parts of me to thee did give,
That due of many, now is thine alone.
Hung with the trophies of my lovers gone,
Who all their parts of me to thee did give,
That due of many, now is thine alone.
Sonets (William Shakespeare)
¿Cómo evitar hablar
de lo que llevamos dentro?
Hoy he visto el ocaso
de la muerte
y he palpado el glorioso
triunfo de la vida.
Puedo encerrar en mis versos
la certidumbre de saber, por fin,
quien soy
y cuál es el destino de mi viaje.
No sé si algún día
veré llegar mi barco
pero esta tarde he comprendido
que no sirve evocar
a quienes se han marchado;
es mejor
honrar a quienes nos mantienen vivos,
esos seres que esperan
que el amor
se saque el maquillaje.
